A leading technology supplier to the telecommunications sector is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their existing team. If you have a solution driven approach and strong back-end development experience with Linux OS then this opportunity is for you.
Tertiary IT qualification.
6 - 8 years experience in a similar role (Java applications).
Must have strong working SQL knowledge and the use of MySQL/MariaDB and Postgres databases.
Java communications technologies - SOAP, JSON.
Must have exposure to high volume message handling.
Stable track record.
Developing solutions for customers in various sectors.
Follow the company's tools and procedures.
Develop new products & systems (front end and database layers).
Enhancement of existing products and services.
Perform testing prior to delivery to quality control team.
Share knowledge with the support team.
Create reports, manuals and relevant documentation for management.
