Operations Warehouse Manager
Our client is a leading manufacturer of mechanical consumable's and coupled to the automotive, engineering and industrial sectors. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager that will head up their warehouses. The successful candidate will be responsible that all warehouse operations are efficient, optimised and customer focused.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management.
Min 6 years experience in a similar role.
Strong WMS experience, combined with working experience of implementing lean principles.
Value stream mapping experience will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Develop strategic plans and policies to improve warehouse operations and strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with policies, legislation and safety.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service.
Set up and implement high standards in the inbound, put away, storage and outbound processes.
Manage stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Logistics management: review process improvement, cost analysis, scheduling and stakeholder relationships.
Daily and monthly KPI reporting.
Budget control of the warehouse expenses to identify cost opportunity, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective action.
