Electrical Estimator
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in MV switchgear systems to join their dynamic team. If you have a knack for interpreting technical drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, and navigating tender processes with confidence, this role is for you. You'll work closely with engineers, suppliers, and project managers to deliver competitive proposals that align with both project requirements and profitability goals.

Minimum Requirements
Diploma or BTech Electrical.
Technical knowledge and experience of MV switchgear systems, components, and installation practices.
Practical experience in the electrical field, maintenance, switchgear, etc.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, with a strong focus on MV switchgear systems.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope and requirements.
Calculate material, labour, and subcontractor/supplier inputs necessary for successful project delivery.
Collaborate closely with engineers, suppliers, and project managers to gather essential data for accurate estimations.
Identify potential risks, variations, and compliance requirements within tender documentation.
Compile and submit detailed, contract-compliant tender proposals.
Maintain an up-to-date database of material costs, labour rates, and supplier pricing.
Attend pre-tender meetings and conduct site visits when required.
Present cost estimates and proposals to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Ensure all estimates support project budget targets and align with overall profitability objectives.
