Yellow Metal Group Plant Manager

A prominent leader in the Earth Works and Mining industry is seeking a highly skilled Yellow Metals Plant Manager to oversee and manage all yellow & white metal machinery across multiple operational sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in heavy equipment and proven leadership skills to build strong relationships.

Minimum Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in plant management, maintenance control, and operations management specifically focused on yellow metal equipment in the earthworks or mining industry.
Proven track record of managing large-scale equipment fleets across diverse locations.
Must be willing to travel to various sites as required.
Responsibilities
Equipment Oversight - Ensure the effective operation and performance of all yellow metal machinery. This includes all heavy equipment critical to earthworks and mining activities.
Preventative Maintenance Planning & Execution - Strategically plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life cycle of machinery. Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently across all sites.
Operational & Technical Management - Oversee the entire technical and mechanical functions of
Team Leadership & Development - Lead and manage a team of maintenance and technical staff, providing guidance and support to achieve high performance. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
